Welcome! The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Therapeutic change occurs through a trusting relationship between therapist and client, I encourage your autonomy and ownership of the process. Welcoming differences and diversity by providing a non-judgemental, confidential and safe space for your exploration and self-discovery.

About Me

My name is Felisha and I’m a qualified integrative  counselling psychotherapist, trainer, consultant and registered member of the British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP).

My areas of expertise include working with depression/anxiety, trauma and self-psychology.

Years of experience in helping people to manage various challenges that can arise in life, has given me insight into effective interventions and techniques to share with clients during sessions.

Often times we can find ourselves living in sustained emotions that influence our thoughts and behaviours. These subsequently affect our future and quality of life. My core modalities are person centred and psychodynamic. Psychodynamic approach brings the unconscious into the concious by looking at how your past experiences manifest in your current day to day life and at how it informs your behaviour, personality, relationships.

Have you ever wondered why you keep making the same mistakes?

The Person centred approach looks at your belief systems, self esteem, values and at how you view yourself and the world. What makes you feel worthwhile?

My integrative approach means that I am able to draw theoretical knowledge and techniques from multiple modalities to shape and adapt sessions around each individual that comes through the door. I support people to develop healthy coping strategies and strengthen to their resilience.

Testimonials

I first reached out for therapy to deal with severe anxiety and bouts of depression. My first thoughts about therapy were that I thought it would be hard to open up and share with someone I had never met before. I thought it would be awkward and uncomfortable.

Felisha very quickly put me at ease, she allowed me the time and space to share things I was struggling with and no matter what was brought up, it was always met with a calm empathetic, non-judgemental approach, which really helped to build a safe and comfortable space.

Without Felisha constantly challenging me and making me see that I had the power to change then it wouldn’t have been possible.”
